In my Craftroom

After a short break from using watercolors I picked them up again and started working on some abstract geometric paintings. Here is a sneak peak on the first one in process. While working on this one I got many ideas on new shapes and color combinations, so hopefully I'll make some kind of a series of these. Maybe some of them will become new prints for my shop.

Do you love painting with watercolors too? I'd love to see your work!

  1. I love the colours! It would be great to see a whole series of geometric patterns like this. I wish I was better with watercolours, they look beautiful :)

    1. Thanks! I'm definitely going to post the rest of the patterns once they are ready. You should try! I'm not that good at painting either, but I like to try things out anyway and sometimes something pretty comes out ;)

  2. Hi, is there any specific brand of watercolors that you use?

    1. These are Russian ones called "Sonet". I don't have much experience in watercoloring yet, so I can't really tell if these are better than other brands in one way or another, but I'm happy with them for now.
